What this notice covers

This notice describes how Send-Securely.com, Inc. ("SEND-SECURELY.COM," "we," "us") handles personal information when you visit our marketing site, sign up for an account, or use our enterprise file transfer service.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly (account name, work email, billing contact), information generated by your use of the service (authentication events, transfer metadata, audit log entries), and information about the device and network you connect from. We act as a data processor for the file contents you transmit through the service — we do not read, mine, or otherwise process the contents of those files for any purpose other than delivering them to your recipients per your configured policies.

How we use information

We use the information described above to operate the service, bill the contracting customer, secure the platform against abuse, support your team, and meet our regulatory obligations.

Sharing

We share information with sub-processors who help us run the service (a current list is maintained in your admin console and the DPA). We disclose information to law enforcement or other government authorities only when compelled by valid legal process; we publish an annual transparency report summarizing the volume and nature of such requests.

Your rights

Where applicable law gives you rights over personal information about you — including access, correction, and deletion — you may exercise those rights by contacting your administrator or emailing privacy@send-securely.com.

Retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as you have an account with us plus a period required for legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Transfer audit log entries are retained per the policy your administrator configures (default 7 years for Enterprise and Government plans).
